MNNIT Allahabad to organize Hackathon, Hack36 for tech-savvy

Hack36 is a 36-Hour Hackathon which will be hosted by Computer Science and Engineering Department at MNNIT Allahabad from 25th to 27th January 2019. It will be a congregation of hackers and developers from all over the country where innovative minds will develop mobile/web app or anything with hardware.

Hack36 will offer a plethora of opportunities for tech enthusiasts to enhance their skills, get an advantage on tech trends and get the talent appreciated by industry experts.  

It will be a 36-hour event in which 600 developers from 54 colleges including IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU-Varanasi, NIT Raipur, IIT Allahabad, NIT Jamdeshpur and MANIT Bhopal and many other colleges across the country will participate and build a technology solution. No participant is required to pay any fees to participate in the Hackathon.

Participants can form the team of 2-4 members by logging to Hack36’s website. Shortlisting of the teams will be done based on the GitHub profile and resumes of each member.

The team will be selected if 50% members have an excellent technical profile. Otherwise, if there is only one individual out of the team of four members has a decent profile, only that individual member will be shortlisted to participate in the Hackathon.

Food and accommodation will be free for all participants.

Hack36 is also presenting the “Campus Ambassador Program” in which amazing perks will be given to the dedicated ambassadors who influence maximum developers and hackers from their college for participation.

Perks and incentives that will be provided to the Campus Ambassadors:

  • Certificates to every ambassador.
  • T-shirts and goodies for dedicated ambassadors who will invite the maximum participants from the college.
  • They will have the chances of interaction with all the mentor and judges of Hack36.
  • Opportunity to build a good network with like-minded colleagues from all over India.

The winner of the Hack36 will be awarded the prize of Rs. 25,000, while runner-up, second runner-up and the best all-girls team will be given the prize of Rs15,000, Rs10,000 and Rs5,000 respectively.

The winner will be announced by the Chief Judge Akash Takyar, CEO and Founder LeewayHertz along with other jury members from the reputed software development firms on the last day of the event.
