About Patricia Porrey and Pamela Jones

Pat Porrey and Pam Jones are the authors of the book, Raising Confident Parents: Secrets from Baby Nurses and Parents about Pregnancy, Infant Care and Achieving Sweet Dreams.

Pam a 25-year veteran postpartum nurse, saw firsthand that due to shorter hospital stays many new moms were not getting the education they needed before bringing their newborns home.  Pam enjoyed teaching new moms and caring for their newborns so much that she soon left her hospital job and recruited other RNs so she could help new families on a full-time basis. In 2009, she recruited her sister Pat who was a postpartum doula and licensed counselor to open their company, Sweet Dreams Infant Care. They complied their ten years of experience with other baby nurses and veteran parents with secrets and tips about the journey from pregnancy to getting your infant to sleep through the night, all while enjoying this precious time with your babies.
